MISSION: To be the catalyst that brings together dedicated leaders, provides information, and builds relationships to improve the quality of life in Henderson County.
WHY: One role of a Chamber of Commerce is to assist our leaders in developing a clearer understanding of the total community, provide information, and support our leaders who are committed to the advancement of Henderson County and the continual improvement of our quality of life.
PROGRAM FORMAT: Each year a diverse group of leaders will participate in a thought-provoking, 9 month program that consists of monthly sessions as well as an opening overnight retreat. Through lectures, discussion groups, and other leadership development activities, participants will become more informed on key community issues such as economic development, education, diversity, and quality of life to name a few.
Note: Attendance is required at the opening retreat and at a minimum of six of the eight monthly sessions, the ninth month is the Graduation.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE: Monthly sessions are always the third Tuesday of the month & locations vary with each topic.
TUITION: Program tuition is $700.
The tuition covers all expenses incurred during the program, including course materials, monthly sessions, lunch and snacks, lodging and meals for the opening retreats.
