The Henderson-Henderson County Chamber of Commerce’s “Taking Care of Business” Committee was created to help fulfill the chamber’s mission of providing Information, Services and Advocacy to its members and the community.
The TCB Committee has been working closely with the Henderson City/County Planning and Codes departments to become more familiar with the activities of those groups and their impact on local business development. The TCB Committee has found that various ordinances and regulations - whether federal, state or local in origin - can make navigating through these requirements somewhat difficult for the average business person or novice developer.
A Resource Partner to Help The members of the TCB Committee are available to serve as a resource to help guide the novice business person wanting to begin or expand a business in our community. We can help get you started in the right direction by directing you toward the appropriate channels to start your process, and to further assist you should you encounter any difficulties along the way.
A Resource Partner to Enhance the Process The committee also serves as a clearing house to gather ideas on how the process of business development or expansion can be made more effective. Its members also want to ensure that perceived barriers or other difficulties that you may encounter and bring to our attention are effectively remedied by the appropriate entities involved. Your real estate agent, architect, surveyor or project engineer can help guide you through the process. But should you feel overwhelmed by the complexity of your project, or are just in the beginning phases of your project, call the chamber and let our TCB Committee help “take care of business” for you.
